‘Soldier Boys’ tells the story of General Joseph Kony and the boy soldiers of the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army in Northern Uganda. Guided by Paska Otto, a Ugandan - Canadian woman who was once a child soldier herself, the film shows the horrors of the child soldiers’ lives and the steps that are being taken to rehabilitae them, and to re - integrate them into a society they’ve terrorized for over 15 years. Paska herself, like all the child soldiers we meet in the film, is on a journey of redemption and forgiveness to her home village in Acholiland, Northern Uganda. The film takes that journey with her - and with all the other child soldiers we meet. Produced for CTV, Vision TV and Granada Media International by Paradox Productions (now Hg80 Media).
